Bacteria, Molds, Yeasts & Fungus

All biological infestations are anaerobic or water based.  Biological contamination are generally categorized as “Bacteria”, when in fact other organism can be the contributes.  Along with bacterium are molds, yeasts and fungus.  In some cases higher life forms such as worms, specifically, Nematodes.

As these organisms live in the water contamination, they consume the complex hydrocarbons, resulting the generation of water by-products.  Such water by-products include alcohols and organic peroxides, causing oxidation of the lubricant or fluid.  A secondary waste product is iron-sultanates.
